As I am sitting here sipping on a homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte, I am thinking about my favorite fashion season – fall!
What is there to love about fall fashion? It’s hands down the most comfortable fashion period all year! Think about it. The comfy jeans, soft sweaters, cozy scarves, and the list goes on and on.
Here are some beautiful fashion trends to think about for fall 2016:
Cold Shoulder Tops
I feel like a lot of people think of cold-shoulder tops as more of a summer trend. FALSE! A cold-shoulder top underneath a sweater, for example, adds a little flair and glam to your look.
I know. What’s so special about some holes in jeans? Everything! It can change an average look to an edgy one.
This is an on-going trend for the fall season such as flannels and pairing them up with an adorable vest and riding boots. However, fashion has taken this beyond just the plaid flannel look. Plaid is a pattern that absolutely screams fall! Try it out this fall with your scarves and vests.
As the chilly weather comes rolling in, you need to make sure to dress warm – in style! Layering up ranges from adding a vest or even adding another layer under your top such as a lace extender – one of our most versatile items at FHB (check it our here). Whether it’s a fur vest, puffer vest, suede vest or a plaid one, it will take your look to the next level. One thing that I am also a fan of are tops that give the layer look, but it’s actually just one shirt!
My favorite fall fashion accessory is a scarf! I look forward every year to grabbing a cozy scarf out of my closet and feeling like I am snuggled up in my bed all day long. Blanket scarves do just that and are fashionable. A blanket scarf can dress up your favorite basic sweater or tee.
